It´s been a while since the last time I posted something on my blog. But today I came up with a great idea: my trip to paradise, to one of the most beautiful places I´ve ever been…
Punta Cana! (Woohoo!!)
I have to say, It had been a really long time since the last time I travelled. But getting back on track on this travelling thing is amazing.
My boyfriend and I had been planning this trip for a very long time. We wanted to experience paradise, tanning, beautiful beaches, hotel life and more. So we decided to go to a very popular place nowadays… Dominican Republic, more specifically, Punta Cana.
I recommend this place 100% if you are the type of person that loves the beach, crystalline waters and lots of water activities (which I totally AM). A lot of people say that you don´t have much to do in Punta Cana, but I can firmly say that it´s not true!
We stayed at the Palladium Bavaro Hotel for exactly 7 nights (which I have to say it was AMAZING!) . The food is delicious, the hotel rooms are beautiful and super comfy and everywhere you look is sorrounded by palm trees.
Everyday we did a different activity.
One of the most amazing one we did was getting to know the most beautiful island… SAONA ISLAND. This place is the typical picture that comes to mind when you think about caribbean island. It has the most beautiful turquese and crystalline water you can ever imagine, again, surrounded by palm trees. The sand is super white and thin so it’s a pleasure to walk on it.
Another activity we did was parasailing which was a wonderful experience. The views you get from above are breathtaking, something to remember the rest of your life. It´s a 15 minute experience but totally worth it.
We also rented motor boats which you can drive yourself (obviously I drove it haha) and you can go to the natural pools and do some amazing snorkeling.
We did scuba diving for the first time and all I can say is I´M DEFINITELY DOING IT AGAIN!.
The last activity we did was driving buggies. Super fun and also you get to know more the sorroundings and the dominican culture. They take you to coffee and cacao plantations, the explain the whole process from the seed to the coffee/cacao grain. It´s really interesting. Afterwards they take you a natural well (also amazing) and lastly to another beach.
So if you like the beach and water as much as I do, don’t take this place for granted, you have lots to do and to enjoy.
Hope you like this travel post!.
And comment down below if this could be a place you would like to visit.
